David Icke Takes on Trump in Epic Easter Clash

On Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, “President” Donald Trump posted a bombastic and vulgar message on Truth Social during the ongoing U.S. Israeli war on Iran.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”

Reason for Rant?

Trump is frustrated he can’t yell and make people do things. He has repeatedly demanded Iran reopen the strait, threatening Iranian power plants, critical for civilian electricity and bridges.

The Strait of Hormuz carries about 20% of the world’s oil and gas. Iran closed the Strait to U.S. and Israeli affiliated flagged ships in retaliation.

It’s reckless and undignified. British author David Icke responded harshly on X:

“Imagine if he drank.

History will record how a lunatic with an ever disintegrating mind was lied into office… the gutless Capitol Hill and Trump’s pathetic ‘cabinet’ sat on their hands and did nothing when the 25th Amendment could be invoked to stop global economic catastrophe and the mass bombing of civilians.”

Icke is urging for his removal from office.

Is Trump committing war crimes?

The threats also of potential war crimes. Under the Geneva Conventions, attacking civilian infrastructure like power plants, hospitals and water needed for daily life.

Amnesty International and legal experts warned that strikes could violate international humanitarian law.

The U.S. administration says any actions would remain legal and necessary.

Average American Viewpoint

Public support for the war and escalation is low. Recent polls (late March to early April 2026) show:

  • 38–40% of Americans support the military action or Trump’s handling of it; 53–61% oppose it (Quinnipiac, Pew, Reuters/Ipsos, Nate Silver average).
  • Trump’s overall approval rating hovers in the mid-to-high 30s (around 36–41%), with disapproval at 55–60%.
  • Large majorities (over 70%) oppose sending U.S. ground troops, and many worry about rising gas prices, longer conflict, and risks to civilians.

Republicans largely back Trump’s approach, Democrats and independents strongly oppose it.

This reflects broad public war fatigue and skepticism about further escalation.

The Tuesday deadline adds urgency to a volatile situation.
