Minnesota Timberwolves lost the first two road games in Oklahoma City Thunder arena. If they are to get back into the Western Conference Finals, it has to start with a win tonight. Just so you know, I write as I watch the game.
Keys to game
Minnesota needs a win simple key for Anthony Edwards and crew.
OKC job is also simple just keep doing what you’re doing. Timberwolves already seem checked out of the series.
First Quarter
Both teams come out the gate are settling for long shots and missing. Edwards got a few dunks off of turnovers. Then the rest of the Timberwolves started to chip in hitting buckets that led to an early 12 point led. Rudy Gobert showed up big in the first quarter. Giving the Timberwolves a 20 point led to end the quarter.
second quarter
Rookie Terrance Shannon Jr. got a lot of time on the floor scoring 9 points in the first half. His defensive energy is matching the Thunder energy. Something they’ve been lacking the first two games. I’m glad to see Minnesota coaching staff mixing things up.
OKC have played the first half of the game in the exact same fashion Minnesota played in Oklahoma. Anthony Edwards is a front runner, which is a sucka move since he dodged the press conference after game 2. Keep the same energy for questions and trash talk in a win as you do when you lose. Timberwolves finished the first half up by 31 points though.
Third Quarter
Timberwolves kept pouring it on in this quarter. Tonight is just not OKC Thunder night and they have basically accepted the lose at this point. Minnesota extended the lead to 38 points with 4:25 left in the quarter.
OKC should just pull their starters at the beginning of the fourth quarter. To make sure they are ready for game 4. It’s becoming a yawner of a game. I am the social proof of what I’m saying. Thunder pull the starters with 2 minutes left in the quarter down by 40 points.
Fourth Quarter
