How to Grow the Seeds of Ideas.

I wanted to write a book about my life. That idea came to me like it does to most people with robust egos. I happen to have more than a robust ego, I also have a make it happen attitude. I had no idea how to write an article let alone a book. After some research, I thought the best way to write a book was to just start writing.

I know what most people don’t know when you have an idea just start acting on that idea. The seed of an idea can only grow if given water and sunlight. I only mention the book which I titled “Fuck Baby” because whether or not I finish the book shouldn’t matter to you. What should matter to you and anyone else with a good idea is the fact that I took action on my idea.

Taking action on your ideas is a form of education. If you only take action on the ideas that you know will work, you could be missing a great chance to learn something new like a tactic or strategy.

The first action step is Research. Research gives you a great blueprint for your idea to flourish. The old adage goes there no need to reinvent the wheel, it’s true there is nothing new under the sun. So do yourself a favor and follow the paved road it less bumpy.

The second action step is Application. Apply everything you learned during your research of your idea. The application of your idea is like the watering of your seeds. You don’t want to drown your seeds so don’t go overboard. What I mean by that is don’t over-invest your money or time. Even if you have the time and money to waste. Seeds have what’s known as a germination period. The germination of the seed mostly takes place under the dirt. If your idea doesn’t look like it is growing right away just tell yourself my idea is germinating before giving up too soon.

The third action step is Sharing. This is making sure your seed gets proper sunlight. Run your Idea by some people with some type of perspective on your idea. You don’t wanna ask your gardener what’s missing from the cakes you bake? The reason you wanna share your idea is so you don’t want to invest time and money on an idea with any feedback. Don’t worry about someone stealing your idea most people don’t follow-through on their own ideas. The chance of someone stealing your idea is very slim. I mean how many of your own ideas have you followed through on?
