I was missing the culture a little bit. While everybody was talking about the Diddy trial, it was mad boring to me. Then here comes the “Top Barb” throwing shots at Beyonce husband Shawn Carter aka Hov.
Jay-Z Owes Her
Money (Allegedly. But She’s Seems Serious.)
Nicki claimed Jay-Z owes her $100–200 million from her Tidal deal back in 2014. She’s been hinting at it for years, but now she’s straight up saying give me my money “karmic debt” for how Black artists like her were allegedly used by Roc Nation then ghosted.
She called out Jay-Z’s silence when Obama asked Black men to support Kamala Harris. Nicki’s claims Jay’s playing both sides of politics. Like Democrats in front and Republicans in the back.
Desiree Perez The “Rat” in the Room
Nicki dragged Perez for being federally convicted for drug trafficking, then getting pardoned by Trump in 2021. Nicki says Perez has been involved in alleged corruption, racism, and betrayal of Black artists.
She also mentioned Perez in a lawsuit involving her own daughter accusing Roc Nation of racism and abuse.
Megan Thee Stallion Gets Slapped Just Cus’
Nicki threw shots at Megan directly on X in references to her lawsuits, “Guess who just got a brand new weird case?”
The lawsuit? A cameraman reportedly sued Megan for creating a “hostile work environment” Nicki seems to be loving the karma.
Helping the Barbz with Jay-Z’s “Debt”
Somewhere between the insults, Nicki threw in a heartwarming twist. If she ever gets that Hov money, she says she’ll use it to help fund #StudentOfTheGame her scholarship program for Barbz.
It’s classic she roast billionaires, mock rivals, then offer to pay your tuition.
Stationhead: The Real Point of All This?
Let’s be real, Nicki knows how to trend. She finishes the rant, then invites fans to a Stationhead session: “No mess, just music and #NickiTrivia.” Boom. Engagement. Platform traffic. Barbz in attendance.
