He’s get major respect from people like me, who just appreciate ballers not just microwave championship players. In a 24/7 sports media world, Fox Sports 1 and ESPN (anal)yst are just like Instagram models who show booty pics every other post.

What I mean by that, is everyone from Kendrick Perkins to Skip Bayless love to create viral moments so they get more likes and higher ratings. Even former NBA players that haven’t won any rings, make it all about winning NBA championships. I hope they realize that rationale makes their careers null and void.

Sports analyst make winning the only thing that matters, for their selfish corporate storylines. They talk about athletes that don’t achieve their full potential, meanwhile they are the laziest bunch in the world with the same three ideas in rotation.

First follow or create a controversy, second bring up any subject then insert LeBron James or Tom Brady name into the subject and the last move also the most tired one, have a who’s the greatest debate. All for the love of ratings, if you watch Get Up on ESPN, Ryan Clark and friends basically sit at home, writing one liners like wanna be comedians or rappers.

I’m a be honest though, its what makes the show watchable.

This does is provide me with an opportunity to salute the players like Giannis, who will only get air play on ESPN and Fox Sports 1 for highlights and hot takes that talk down on him. Then when he finally does win a NBA title the usual brown nosing will begin.

Anthony Davis Los Angeles Lakers forward couldn’t make the playoffs when he played with the New Orleans Pelicans. He joined the Lakers and LeBron James now everyone has him rated higher than the Greek Freak which is just ridiculous. He never was thought seriously about as a NBA MVP, although some analyst projected him to be the best player in the NBA at this point of his career and now they will sway the conversation in anyway to make their predictions come true.

I have nothing against players who create super teams and collect microwave championships. Its just a sucker move to do so, I’m not calling any of them a suckers, its just the action of a sucker. Sort of like getting drunk and blacking out on your B-Day is a alcoholic move but that doesn’t make you an alcoholic.

Giannis gives a team everything you want in a player. Yes, he came up short in the playoffs but this used to be a natural progression for players learning how to win. We all can see the areas that he needs to improve upon and if you don’t see his game improving every year you shouldn’t be in a position to speak on anyone’s game.

I remember when sports reporters actually reported on sports. Instead nowadays viewers receive the sports versions of Days of our Lives. People like Skip Bayless tell players to take less money in order to win championships for Billionaire owners, instead he could use his FoxSports 1 “Undisputed” platform to expose how un-American the NBA and NFL salary caps are to the free market. s

Should I be used to millionaire ex-pro players/coaches who were and most still are obsessed with making it at all cost, mixed with nerdy sports reporters who create drama to make life interesting?

Yes, It just feels wrong when our top professional athletes get treated like children by analyst (parents) who can never be pleased. No matter what these athletes do it will never be enough for insecure analyst parents projecting their weaknesses disguised as strengths.

Anyways salute to Giannis and all players who haven’t won NBA Championships or SuperBowls but still deserve top respect.
