Disclaimer: Some songs and albums take time to grow on any music listener. I give my initial reactions to each song. So my opinion is subject to change with more listening time.

This album has 12 tracks and now it’s time for me to hit play.

The album cover is the artist and his kids. I’m guessing they’re his kids I’ve done zero amount of research to be sure.

The first song is “Killa Mode” starting with people in a prayer or some sort of chant maybe 🤔 hard to say right off the top. Then a soulful beat dropped and I was happy and surprised. If you’re already a fan of Westside Boogie you gotta understand this is my first time ever hearing or playing his music. Anyways the hook is crazy. “in a fade with my brain”…omg, crazy and more adjectives. First track 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The second Track “Stuck” with a female voice saying to him oh you too good for Bompton huh? He killed the first verse, the problem for me it’s was the only verse, then a decent bridge and more hook. This left me wanting more. Second track 🔥🔥🔥

Third track “Nonchalant” feat. Mamii, these two make a dope combination and this track is definitely Playlist approved when hanging or riding with the shorty. The song concept Nonchalant was written and carried with damn near perfection. I only say that because, of their vocal arrangements in some spots.  Third track 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Forth track “LOLSMH II” this track officially made me a Westside Boogie fan. The beat, flow, lyrics, and also the fact that I wanna rewind, so I can hear it again. Makes the track🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The fifth track “Can’t Even Lie” feat. Soulja Boy. I can’t even lie, this was the first track I was thinking Nah. This track 🔥🔥

Six track “Prideful II” is definitely a banga. Boogie gets the most out of his voice on this one. This one of them cuts everyone could relate to at some point in their life. This track🔥🔥🔥🔥

Seven track “Aight” feat. Dram. I always love when a rapper can switch up their flow and cadence. The beat was a little too basic for my taste. It was a good album cut-through. This track 🔥🔥🔥

The eighth track “Can’t Get Over You” feat. Smino and Teezo Touchdown. This is a good track with the potential to be great, but I gotta sit with this one a little longer before any conclusions, right now though. This track 🔥 🔥🔥

The ninth track “Ratchet Boog” interlude was an eye-opening track for me and you really get the meaning behind the name of this album. More Black Superheroes. This track 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Tenth track “Somethin Strange” feat. Kalan. frfr and Mamii. Close my eyes listening to this joint. Yeah, it’s one of the bumpers. We gone levitate. This track 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Eleventh track “Windows Down” feat. Snoop Dogg. Definitely for the tokers. The only way to avoid a hotbox is to roll the windows down. If you don’t smoke you really missing out. Boogie rips the track then the OG comes in flipping his flow as usual but still sounding fresh as a mf. This track 🔥 🔥🔥🔥

The twelfth track “Anthony (War)” this track struck me from the door as a father, who not having as much contact with my kids as I would like. His line of the album “this feeling ain’t sustainable, but ain’t it true” words can’t express my need for everyone to hear this song. This track 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

My overall first take 🔥🔥🔥1/2 flames. Just short of four blame the Soulja Boy appearance that track just didn’t fit in otherwise, I would gave this album 🔥🔥🔥🔥 easy.
