If I’m trying to communicate with you, I have to make my thoughts make sense to you, or at the least make my thoughts understandable to you.

The reason is what makes sense to me, might not make sense to you. I may like to spend my money so I can have instant gratification and that doesn’t make sense to someone who likes to save money for delayed gratification.

So making it make sense can be easy or difficult depending on the person speaking and the audience listening.

A 5 year old thinks eating Ice cream for breakfast makes perfect sense. A 10 year old may think I can drive I have done it hundreds of times on the video game. A 15 year old thinks I know enough to move out and make it on my own. So on and so forth what make sense to most people depends on where you are in life.
